Sweet Cones

Our group of military wives is having a fundraiser bake-sale this week, and all though none of what I'm contributing is "baked" (I don't have much baking time in my schedule!) I thought these turned out rather adorable!

We took icecream cones.  Dipped them in Wilton candy-melts, then rolled them in sprinkles.
(I'm sure that you could also use almond bark, chocolate bark, or any other quick-set candy)

The cake cones are filled with mini marshmallows, animal crackers, chocolate teddy grahams, and wafer cookies... little kid friendly!

The sugar cones are filled with a variety of things, blow-pops, Colorful licorice, mini MnMs, skittles, swedish fish, and sour patch kids... bigger kid friendly!

The perfect hand held snack on the go!

Ha! What a great idea! Wonder what to put in there for BIG big kids (can you get a bottle of wine in one of those cones?!).

And I didn't mention before, but I think your sleeve is fabulous!

Tia,thinking of all of you today and pray that all our soldiers return home soon. Prayers for all the spouses who are keeping things going at home. You are the unsung heroes. I've been in your shoes for a short time and mine was not a good turnout. May you all be Blessed and May God watch over all of you. Hugs,Pat

Tia just stopping by to see how the bake sale went. Oh I wish Al had stayed in the Marines as a career. I tried to talk him into it,but he decided he didn't want to drag us all over the country. I could handle being a Marine wife, because you seem to have so much fun. Love and hugs, Pat

Tia, is it true you will be moving to the East Coast? I would not want to move anytime, because I would certainly have to have a garage sale first. Lord I could open a craft store right now. Best of luck if it's true. Hugs, Pat
